Any one know how to get the computer voices? I lost them somehow.

Depending on what unit you have, when you log in to HOME, you can install computer voices there....

unfortunately, the 910 doesn't have the voices installed on a CD. if you lost them and have no backup try to use HOME 2. If all fails you may need to contact TT Support. Doing that they may ask you to send in your unit to they can reinstall it again.

I was able to download computer voices using TomTom home. There are two US versions and two UK versons in english.

After an hour with tomtom tech support the unit is going back. They were very helpful and tried every fix they had. Unit would not see voices on HOME. They said that if they could not fix it they would replace it. Unit is over a year old. Tomtom stands behind their stuff. I explained that the problem started from their update and they are taking care of it. I do not know if anyone else had this experience. It also wiped all my music.

We have heard of individuals having problems after an update. Always do a back up and in the event you happen to be one of the unfortunate few you have a "Plan B". I truly speak from experience and also had to do the return to TT route.

If you have made a backup with TT home at the very first, then comp voices can be found under ..\TomTom\Home\FromDevice folder. Files are labled like Katrin_German6.5.toc and Katrin_German6.5.zip. Each voice must have a .toc and .zip file.
