Color Scheme issues on go 720

Hi All

Not sure what caused it but my day map is in greyscale and my night map is different shades of black. I have tried changing the color scheme but it wont stick... ive tried everything including a restore of a previous backup.

I also searched and read that there is a flash tool... ive ran that numerous times but it doesnt work

I have no idea how to fix it ...other than doing a factory reset but that will reset all my additions

factory reset is my last option. Please help if you can!!!

Do you have a satellite signal lock when your colors look like this?

hmm nope indoors.. you think its not updating cuz it cant connect to the satellite?

Currently doing that map update to the new version... 20 mins left... il run outside in the cold and try and get a signal lol

That would be the most obvious guess. When you don't have a sat lock, the map screen is greyed

you were right! thx for the prompt answer! it makes you wonder... are you supposed to make these changes outside?? it would make sense if any visual effects would be updated real time...go figure.

Well, I usually get a sat lock in my house...but, I think the reason for it was that the user would instantly know whether or not they were "live"
