Go 5200
I currently have a Go 5200 and I have been sent an offer from TomTom to buy a Go Superior that will route avoiding ULEZ zones. I am interested in this mainly to avoid the London ULEZ. But how does this work with other areas? For instance over the weekend I drove to Sheffield which has a clean air zone that doesn’t apply to private cars. How would a Go Superior deal with navigating to a location in Sheffield’s clean air zone? is it clever enough to know the difference between different schemes based on vehicle type or would it just warn of the zone and leave me to work it out? does anyone know?

If yours is anything like mine or my Brothers Low emissions does not work for London. It will for Birmingham and Bristol but not London. If you query with Tom Tom they just act ignorant

Since posting this I emailed TomTom support to try to get an answer. They replied but didn’t actually answer the question. We have gone back and forth a couple of times and it seems to me that they don’t want to answer. They are deliberately misunderstanding my question. Their latest response asked for the serial number of the device, when I clearly said I was only thinking of buying it. I think I will save my money and keep using my 5200.
