Chassis

The 910 rear case has no slot for the SD card unlike the 510 and 710 models, the aluminum chassis holding the device together is the same though! even the 910 has the machined slot for the SD card in it even if the outer plastic case doesn't.

The 910 contains a 20GB HDD where the lessor models have an SD card slot, otherwise they are very similar, what are you thinking of doing? - Mike

Hi Mike just bought a GO910 with a fault on it the screen is faint ,if you look hard enough you can see all the graphics its as if the back light if it has one is not working properly, plus it was cheap enough to play round with to get to know how things work.
The seller has been told it is the screen that is faulty it makes all the right noises when 1st turned on but screen fades away, plus its got all the usa/canada maps on i am after. l was thinking of changing the screen off my GO510.

Regards Bob

Should be OK top swap the screen but take great care with the screen ribbon cable as the quick release connector for the cable on the PCB can be a little difficult to open, if you want some pictures of what to do let me know and I can dig some out and add them to this thread - Mike
