Change my default zoom level?

Is there a way that I can change my TT730 (8.351) Maps (NA 825.2157) default zoom level? I have the auto zoom feature turned on, but I would like for it to remained zoom out a little farther so I can get a bigger picture of where I am going.

You aren't the only one who wishes the auto zoom could be adjustable, but I'm afraid it is not at this point.
