Can't connect to pc

i cant connect my tom tom to my pc.

when it says do you want to connect to your pc i say yes and all it does is reboots
the tom tom and goes to the main menu.

what you suppose is the problem

Welcome to TTF. I changed the title of your thread to something more meaningful.

The first thing I'd try is this:
Do a pin reset on the unit.

If that doesn't help:

Connect the unit to the computer. Say 'yes' if asked. Use Explorer to look at the contents of the map folder on your unit. Delete the mapsettings.cfg file. You'll lose your favourites, etc. but this often cures the rebooting problem.

I've seen that issue when there's a bad cord or a hub between the Tomtom and the computer. Try a different USB cable and plug it directly into the computer.
