I had this error when acquiring the map upgrade. Check your available hard disk space as this was the culprit. I had to move some files to my external drive and was able to acquire 4-5 gig additional space on the hard drive. I then proceeded with TT Home and it worked.

" hard disk space " on my tomotm OR "hard disk space " on my computer (cause I have 40.7 gb free on my 'puter?

He would have meant the computer.

Do you have, by chance, Microsoft's DOT NET FRAMEWORK installed? (check in Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs). If you find no reference att all, dl it from here, install it and then try running Home again.
