Cannot set a homepoint via street address

Ok, if this has been covered before. but has anyone found that their home point doesn't stick if you try to set it using the street address lookup? Finally had to just sit in the driveway in front of the garage and set it with a GPS signal present... using my current location.

Street addresses are not precise items being stored on a map. The application will take a range of addresses and extrapolate the position of each house in the range. That's why it will often show your address actually being down the street from where you really live.

The method you selected is, by conventional wisdom, the smart way to do it.
