Can you unload some maps from iPhone Western Europe App?

Hi all,

I've noticed on the app store tonight that the Western Europe app and UK app are both now the same price (?42). I'm tempted to get the Europe version. However, I'm wondering if it's possible to unload some of the European maps that I won't be using on a daily basis when here in the UK... in order to reduce the 2GB footprint of the Europe app.

Do you have to load everything or is it possible to unload some countries until you need them?

Welcome to the forum, it isn't possible to split out parts of the TomTom map, if you want an iPhone app that can offer this capability look at Sygic but you will need to be running a Jail Broken iPhone in order to put the loaded maps on a diet - Mike

Many thanks for the quick response. I'll probably go for the UK version as it's what I'll use for 99% of the time.
