Can I let TomTom sit in the car

Besides the fact that its a target for theives. Is it ok for me to leave my TomTom ONE sit in the window during a hot or cold day all day long? Will it hurt the unit at all. I would think itd be made to take it but I just wanted to make sure. I always get nervous about hurting new toys.

It is OK most of the time, but you are going to eventually get it snatched. On hot days, you should use a sun shade that would fit between the unit and the windshield. You might want to check out the Warranty and specs as to allowed operating temperatures.

I take it out of the cradle and put it away in the car out of view (my mount is not on the windshield anymore though). I have had no problems with temperatures that way - it does not get as hot that way as opposed being in a closed car and directly in the sun.

It is not good to leave it in hot conditions.

extreme temperatures will have an effect on the battery life, not to mention the screen. Try to keep it between 10-25?C.
