Can a wire be soldered inside the 550 mount? Does it come apart?

Well the lock worked but they bulled out the power cord from the mount

Can that be taken apart and a new power wire be soldered in?

Does anyone know what type of connector is stock as I still have the original back half

Wouldn't it be easier to buy a new bracket for Rider 550 rather than disassembling the bracket?

I would save 96 bucks is all.I'm running it off of the USB but wanted to have it go back to the bikes power.
I hate to throw away things that I can fix myself but wondering if it's a waste of time. I'll report on the surgery soon.
