they developed a mind of their own and every fix on all the forums to include the reformat failed. For some stupid reason I bought more 730s. So far so good but it is telling me thru Home that backup and restore isn't supported on this unit. Does it need more of a charge or did they remove this feature on the newer 730s? If the latter, bummer and I may have made a huge mistake...again.

That's bizarre. That said, two things:
1) Make sure you are logging into Home with different email addresses than used for the first units.

2) We never suggest you use Home's backup/restore function anyway. We **strongly** suggest using Explorer (or Finder if a Mac).

I'm curious - what did you mean by that. Did they suddenly start moving to different pages when you weren't touching the screen?
