A new member so sorry if i am asking the blindingly obvious.
I have recently purchased a Tom Tom 540 live. My first step into Sat Nav territory. I also own a Blackberry Bold so I wished to pair both devices for the hands free capabilities of the Tom Tom.
My problem is this;
I can get both devices to pair, however the TT will always "unable to connect to phone". When I am pairing the devices I am asked for a numerical which I enter but it always comes up unable to connect to TT Go 540 Live. However both the phone and TT state they are paired.
It also shows when paired on the TT ? ?The phone may now be used. The following features were found:. ? nothing appears
What am I doing wrong? Is it a known problem pairing these devices or could it be on or both items are faulty?
I would really appreciate your help as I am pulling my hair out with this as I love the TT but its no good without hands free.
