Seems this might be a universal problem
I need to replace the battery in my Rider 400 and I can't locate one, has it been superseded?
Thanks for any info.

Being in the U.S., I've never dealt with these folks, but the price certainly seems right. For non-priority repairs, the service isn't all that much more than just the battery.

Thanks for the information, I have been in touch with the company and
I'm waiting for a reply.
Fingers crossed.

Thanks a lot, I hope they can help, it will save me buying a new unit.

Thank you for your suggestions regarding my battery problem, good news and bad news.
Try as I might I could not get info on a battery replacement for my Rider 400 but as a last resort before I purchased a new unit, I replaced my charger and hey presto, my sat nav came back to life. I hope this might help anyone with a similar problem.

Your mains charger, or the adapter between your bike and the device? If the battery is still good (and after this many years, it must be getting at least a bit tired), one or the other (mains or bike) should have succeeded in charging your device, pointing you to the culprit.
