Battery Life

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Tom Tom Go 930. With the battery fully charged it lasts less then 2 hours before it is completely discharged. I was told by Tom Tom support that it should last 5 hours so I sent it back and had a replacement sent to me. The replacement has the same problem. I told the retailer and I was told be him that all the Tom Toms only have a battery life of about 2 hours vene though they say it is 5 hours.

Can users of the Tom Tom Gp 730 and 930 please comment on this.

At the best of times, real world experience of users with a 930 (or any model TT) is for 2 to 2.5 hours. There are some battery setting preference that help a bit but the reality is that the units are really meant to be used with the included car chargers.

I'm reading in other current postings that the car charger does not charge.
Curious.
Does it or does it not????
Have not yet had the opportunity myself to 'test'.
