Battery life

I have one of the new XL IQ Routes SatNavs and used it for the first time in a longish journey. The battery from fully charged lasted just over 2 hours. To me this is not very long. What are other people's views?

2 hours is about as good as it gets in real-time use. There are battery saving options under preferences that may help.

All TT devices are really meant to be used with the car charger supplied.
