Battery Discharge

I have a XL 2 months old and when not in use how long would I expect the unit to retain its charge from full.

I use the usb or car charger to top the battery up. I fully charged prior to using then subsequently let it discharge almost fully before recharging the first couple of times. Now I plug it in to the usb or car when in use.

I did take out an optional 5 year warrenty on it. Would the battery be included in that as it is not user servicable?

This is a question for the future as it is really working well and I am stoked also with its ability to also be a multimedia player and with Tyre it has the power of Google.

I do have one complaint. It will not drive the car. Hmmm! maybe the update will do that.

How long does it hold charge? There is a natural tendency for batteries to loose charge over time.

Not too sure about your model, but when you turn off my unit, its just sleeping and the battery will still discharge, to stop the discharge when the unit is not going to be used for some time, press the re-set button.

I think I have found the answer. I had it pluged in the USB port and that must have discharged with the computer off. I fully charged it and so far it is full after 24 hours. I expect some discharge
