Backup waypoints from TomTom in iPhone

How made a backup of all TomTom waypoints from iPhone to desktop ?

Use DiskAid or PhoneAid to view the folders and files on your iPhone, put the application in to Advanced mode



Then you need to find the TomTom/ Documents/ North_America folder and copy the file "mapsettings.cfg" to your PC (Note, the screen shot below was taken of my unit using the UK&ROI map)

Mike, sticking my nose into where it doesn't belong, sorry.......

The OP referred to 'waypoints' which in tomtom pnd's is associated with Itinerary Planning.

Does the iphone app allow for that or is it something different?

As the iPhone app doesn't support itinerarys I made the assumption the OP wanted a back up of Favourites and recent destinations, both of these are stored in the mapsettings.cfg file - Mike
