Backup Favorite Destinations

How do I Backup up favorite dest. on a USB HD? My Unit is stuck, and I want to reformat. I don't want to type in Favorites again.... Thanks. I have a. 340XLS...

Copy your "MapSettings.cfg" file from the North America map folder to your PC, if the folder isn't that name it will be a folder with a descriptive name of the area covered, once you get everything re-installed copy the MapSettings.cfg file back to the same folder on the device where it came from - Mike
