Auto power on/off?

Anyone know if there has been any update on an auto power on/off feature on the TT 1 3rd? It seems to me it should be a simple firmware update to allow the unit to automatically power on and off with the ignition.
 
Many users have been asking for this for months....still haven't found any program that does this yet.
