audio out socket

Hi I would like to use my tomtom go730 with headphones
for when I use my motorbike ie tomtom in coat pick and headphones to listen to audiable instructions
I cannot get the headphones to workand have tried several sets is there anything i need to activate on the software etc
any help would be good

Assuming these are wired headphones that plug in to the base of the TomTom simply go to Change Preferences/ Speaker Preferences and select Line Out for both the Nav instructions and the music player - plug the headset in and away you go - Mike
