Audio Cable

I have a 920 and I primarily use it as an MP3 player. I've been using it through the FM transmitter, but my new car has an MP3 input. I've seen cable kits that connect an iIPOD to the TomTom and the TomTom to your car audio, but I don't have or want an IPOD. I just want to connect the TomTom to my radio.

Is there any way to just get the one cable? Sources?

Actually, you do NOT want to use the iPod interface from the TT unless you have an iPod... it's an interface unique among audio devices and allows control via the TT.

Instead, on the bottom of your 920, you'll find the "line out" jack. With a short bit of cable with stereo (3 conductor) plugs on both ends, you're in business. Radio Shack P/N 42-223 is the 3 foot version.

Thanks guys! I suspected that was the case, but the TomTom manual is amazingly vague. I didn't want to take a chance on mucking up my GPS or my car stereo. I borrowed the cable from my computer speakers, hooked it up, and it works great. I'll swing by Radio Shack tomorrow and pick up the shorter cable.
