Just curious as to how many TTR2 users have upgraded to the 7.54 application (sorry, misnumbered it on the title)

I have been using it for many months now, and other than not being able to pre-plan on my computer using HOME 2.3, it works great.

TT support continually states that they are working on getting this version to "operate my Rider" on HOME but so far no luck. They also know that for some very odd reason, there are some that do provided this function. Apparently it is an "emulator" issue.

Cheers

I get the same response from TT here in the UK :(

Perhaps one day they will sort it

I got a recent reply from TT support and by the sounds of it, they are working on a newer HOME version which will support this function.

I talked to a support guy on the phone, and the problem is with the emulator automatically downloading into some map version files. The "operate my Rider" function works fine if I use my 675 map, but wont download the emulator into my 715 map. Its funny, even TT knows that for some reason, certain 715 map owners have had success.

Cheers!

In susequent emails to TT I have requested that they suply me with an older version map that permits full functionality until they have sorted out the compatibility problems of the ver 7 maps with TT home. They just stated that they don't give free maps away! Some customer service when a product can't do what it advertised to do on their website!

Chased them up yet another month later this time saying that I hope their warranty starts from when they produce the product that works as advertised - again a negative response with no clue as to when a fix might be available!

I beleive the problem is all linked to piracy issues & the attempt to stop software duplication but according to some websites the ver 7 maps have been cracked so it seems just to penalise the genuine purchasers

Whats happening to the posts ?

Lots of hyperlinks are being added has the site been compromised or infected?

Noticed that too, somebody out there with too much time on their hands.

However, for this thread, the latest application V7.541 is out, and has cured the problem of not being able to "operate my Rider2" on HOME.

Cheers,

Cheers,

Thanks for the update.
I checked TT home & found that a new update was available V2.4 downloaded & installed this. Connected my TTR2 and allowed the new updates. Rebooted TTR2 & TT Home software clicked on Operate my Rider a message came up saying a new file would need to be down loaded, clicked ok.
All looking good - tried Operate my Rider and ........ No maps found message again

Try a pin reset on your unit and then reconnect to the computer. Try Home again and see if "Operate My ...." works.

Now that my device downloaded the required emulator on HOME 2.4, I tried it on HOME 2.3 and I can now operate my device from that HOME as well. I am happy about that....

Losing all my MapShare with the new 2.4 I'm not so happy about. More on that in the HOME 2.4 thread.

cheers
