I am looking for a free software that would convert movies to a format that will be able to playback correctly using mplayer on tomtom one 3rd edition.
I have tried mencoder and have used lavc video codec but it does not run properly. Only the first frame is shown on the player. I think it has to do with video coding; may be its more cpu intensive to decode it.
Any suggestions as to what should be the parameters of mencoder for best video playback? or is there any free tool out there
