Antenna Question...

Can someone tell me what the connector type is on the 720? In different posts I've seen it as either a mmcx or a mcx connector but which is it? Just wondering before I tried to get an external antenna. And while I'm on the subject...any recommendations there?

Yeah..and I guess I will if I HAVE to...but it's rather expensive and I'm hoping I don't have to spend that much money on one. There are plenty on ebay...I just need to know the right connector.

If you do get a receiver antenna on ebay, make sure it is NOT the European model if you are in North America. The two are not compatible.

I too would like to know the type of external antenna connector on the GO720. I have a TT GO 700 external antenna with a mini-coax type connector on it and ideally would like to use it on the new GO 720. An adaptor would be great - but probably too much to hope for. I'll probably have to cut off the GO 700 connector and wire on a new connector - if I can find one.

i've gotten cell phone antennae's off of ebay before and they didn't work good at all... even if they look the same as the name brand ones, that's about as far as it goes, looks.
