All I can say is this this thing is awsome. The wife got it the day after Thanksgiving. Was 699 then $100 off in store discount and a 100 dollar mail in rebate. 499 outh the door. I cant wait till the next road trip!

You can turn on speed display from "Status bar preferences" on the third screen of "Change Preferences".

Hello and welcome. Congrats on the purchase.

Its under preferences, go to page 3 of 7 and select 'Status bar preferences'. Check the last option 'Speed'.
