This is a TOTAL guess on my part, but is it necessary to advise your Palm to either a) enable GPS and/or b) permit applications to use it? It does eat extra power, so it's likely that it must be enabled/disabled. If the TT application can't find the NMEA data from the chip via the Palm OS, it would be unable to detect the 'device'. In today's security conscious universe, it's also often the case that you can prohibit applications from gaining access to your location via the GPS data on a phone or PDA.i just put TomTom on my palm centro cell phone and everthing seems to work fine but it is telling me that there is no device detected, what does this mean???
Ahem... don't own a Centro. That's why it's a guess. Did come with a manual, right? If not, you can download one here:you wouldnt know how to turn it on would ya?
