I just purchased this unit last summer and used it for two weeks in Texas. When I got home to Seattle...I noticed the maps could not find my home address...but rather a house that was three blocks away. I then tried to update the unit and found that the new firmware updates, but not the maps. Later, I spent some more time trying to update and I see that TomTom will sell you an updated map. But, I am not sure it will find my house. My sister's Magellan and my Garmin Zumo can find my front door...the TomTom One V2 has problems. Also, I tried finding a church for a wedding and ran out of road. This really sucked big time as I did not have driving directions.
What is the wisdom of this forum to resolve my problems? I like the TomTom One, but cannot trust the maps to always find where I want to go. For a product this is only six months old, why do I have to pay for new maps?
