Adding a Name and Address database

Before buying my TomTom 730 I briefly owned a Magellan. I did not keep the model but I really liked Magellan's name/address/tel.# database feature. There are some programs on the TomTom that I never use (mp3 player, document reader). I am wondering if it's possible to add a name/address/ database to replace the ones I don't use.

I'm not sure about taking out some of the applications, however it seems to me the unit works like a computer, delete the application file and free up the space. I'd suggest making a good backup of the unit before you do that.

Also you can do a custom POI file with any locations you want. The amount of POIs is limited to the available memory. Each POI doesn't take up much room so in essence you have an unlimited amount to add.
