Add to TomTom button error for hosted POI list

I'm trying to setup a web page so that others can subscribe to POI lists, and updat them via TomTom Home. I followed the instructions to the letter, and keep getting the same message when clicking on the button:

Cannot add to your TomTom

You have clicked an 'Add to TomTom' button. Unfortunately, TomTom HOME cannot add the item to your TomTom device because there is something wrong with the button.​

Has anyone been able to create a working button? If so, can you post a URL so I can take a look at the link and XML file?

Have you tried to contact the add-to-tomtom support dpt?

They have a dedicated email address:

I may resort to that when I have some time to spend on the phone, but I expected it would be easier to find the "right" answer here. Plus, others could benefit from the answer here.
