Activation problem

Hello,

I got a tomtom ONE from my grandad a few days ago, it worked fine today but then I wished to update things on the device.

However, I entered a voucher code instead of activation code (doh) and now the tomtom is bricked (shows a picture of the tt with a white cross on red circle on the right when I turn it on).

I went to ttcode for a new activation code but can't enter it (ttcode says to use my touch screen to do so). Where do I go from here ? Thanks

What exactly were you trying to update?

TTcode is an outdated process, now all activations are done via the Tomtom HOME application.

Install Tomtom home from www.tomtom.com/home, then run "Update my ONE" repeatedly until it doesn't offer you anything.

Then try turning it on. If that doesn't work, try running the clearflash tool from here 3 times.
