Ive been a TomTom user for over a decade.
Have the IOS Go subscription which expires in a month and I am going to drop it.
For 5+ years I have been reporting significant routing errors in Australia that never get corrected.
When you choose route between A and B and TomTom choose a route 50km and 30 mins longer than Google and Apple.
If you add a mid-point stop to the route TomTom suddenly finds it and shows it as 50kms and 30 mins shorter!
Its not the app - its the underlying algorithm because its exactly the same in the mydrive web app.
Last week was the worse when TomTom wanted to take me 600km and 6 hours out of my way compared to Google and Apple!
I have reported so many time to try and help resolve it but never any change.
My subscription ends in 3 weeks. I shall not be renewing.

If you want to see the problem trying going between
Canberra (ACT) and Huskisson (NSW) in MyDrive.
TomTom offers 3 routes NONE of which are the fastest. Best it can find is (242km, 3:05h)
Now add "Nerriga, NSW' to the route.
Tomtom finds 197km 2:47h for the route.
This is faster and shorter but TomTom doesnt find it unless you force it by adding a mid-point stop. (Nerriga)
But how would you know that unless you already knew the route and knew TomTom was wrong?
Has been like this for over 5 years.... :(

Without Norriga I get 2:55 hrs for 241km.
With Norriga I get 2:40 hrs 195 km.

Maybe time for you to contact TomTom about it.

Moved thread over to the iOS GO section.

I tried for 5 years. Never any response or interest. Reported it through Mpashare as an error over 10 times. No response. Do you have any way to contact TomTom that they actually take any notice of becuase I have never found one.
