A bit of a glitch

Having a problem with my "speak and go" on my new TomTom Go 5100... only works one in four times. Saying Hello Tomtom ...is no problem...Karen answers. Asking for address is a nightmare. Sometimes Karen says "set work location first" What does this mean? Go Home and Karen works well. Find myself going crazy. Is this a faultry GPS or is this just a problem with the item. I am in Australia. Any help appreciated.

If you deactivate Destination Predictions in Settings, likely will not hear the 'set work location first'.

Thanks for your reply. I will follow those instructions ....but wouldn't that also disable the Predictions in typing address?. Going to try it now.

I just checked...it was deactivated.
So back to ....what else can you suggest please.
