Is the RDS antena work in USA? Did you compare to the other on?

Yes, the RDS antenna works in the US. At least it has worked for me in the Seattle, WA area.
I have not compared the service to the subscription one so can not advise you on that.

What kind of info did it provide? And does it "interface" with the TT itself regarding calculating a new route around, say, Downtown Seattle? Not that many choices exist.

Are you from the Vancouver/Victoria area? Does it work up there?

I can't speak to Vancouver signal availability, but I can tell you how it works in my area.

In the San Jose area, the traffic data is highway speeds and California Highway Patrol accident information (again, highway only). Though it's not the default setting, the TomTom can be set to recalculate the route automatically based on detected delays. Most of the speed data is retrieved from the highway onramp sensors used for the metering traffic lights.

...but for whatever the reason, my TomTom 920T does not display the amount of the delay, only that there's a slow point. I'm not sure if that's a regional restriction or a bug in the software... my Magellan unit had a similar attachment (using RDS data from Navteq) and could tell me how fast the traffic was moving through a region. Perhaps TomTom uses a different source for its traffic data.
