720 with Blackberry Curve 8310

Hi,
I cannot get my Blackberry to pair properly with my 720. The Blackberry sees the 720 but will not connect.
Can anyone help???

You have to change the settings in the Bluetooth menu on your phone. Under device properties:

Trusted: Yes
Encryption: Enabled
Echo Control: Automatic

you also need to change the setting for "Can be discovered" or "Is Discoverable"

this setting needs to be on to allow the TT to "see" the blackberry

I have found that trying to pair or connect from the phone dosent always work. It is better to let TomTom do the searching and connection to the mobile. Also if using the password '0000' dosent work try using some other password like '1234' or something.
Make sure that the Bluetooth in the mobile has been set up to be discoverable, so that TT sees the mobile as in the above post.
