Looks like the GO 720's traffic performance has been praised by LAPTOP:

Praise well deserved. Most deffinatly the "best value" within the TomTom product line.

Compared to Garmin's extremly overpriced [similar featured unit] .....it's a steal

Wholeheartedly agree!

Garmin's a close second, but definitely second in my book. Of course the classic ONE v3 is the flagship of devices, but the GO 720 is getting consistently praised for doing it all. MP3s, TTS, FM Trans, Photos, Map Share... its ridiculous how much these little guys can do.
