Hi all,
Anyone has same problem with TomTom? Device works fine, searching address, planning the route, showing traffic all fine ...but doesn't recieve any data, does not navigate!
It started some weeks ego...sometimes. Last two days doesn't work at all.
Any help?

Hi

If your GO shows traffic. are you receiving data?

What do you mean by not browsing?

Have you tried resetting the device to factory defaults?

It shows everything when planning route but right after stucks in that position and showing: searching satelite sign.
I am about to reset factory defaults. I didn't want but looks like nothing else left, hope will help :)

There are only a few reasons that the little icon in the upper right would show that your device doesn't have a satellite lock. I assume your chevron (location triangle) on the map screens is gray as well? Here you have, in order of frequency, the likely candidates. See if you can eliminate them one at a time.

1) You've either moved a considerable distance or not powered up the unit for an extended period. It can take up to 10 minutes to get a lock in a new location or after a long period of disuse.
2) You're not seeing a clear sky to pick up satellites. Unfortunately, none of these more recent TomTom models has a screen showing satellite reception. Even inside a vehicle, with metallic low-E window glass material in a few makes of vehicles, it can be next to impossible to get a signal.
3) There's GPS jamming going on in your immediate area (most often the function of a trucker who doesn't want to be observed by the employer!)
4) The device is defective.

Thank you for advice! "3)" was probably. I put the satnav to other side of windscreen and it works properly. :)
