My tt says 2.0 map should i put this on a sd card and use that or just leave the way it is so no problems at all love my tt

when i try to put a poi in tt says poor gps recpetion using window mount and every thing woks good so don't know why this is happining should i get external antenna will this work better and does external mean it needs to be mounted outside or does it just connect to my tt ons stick to windshied

1. No offense, but please user commas, points, questions marks, etc... Took me five times to figure what exactly you are asking...

2. Did you update your TT with the newest QuickGPSfix? What firmware do you have?

3. Has it worked before you made any updates (if any)? If so, have you tried to restore it?

4. As many have pointed out, RESET does wonders, so you might want to give it a shot (use a paper clip or similar and just reset it).

I have firmware 7.221,and the latest up dates don't know if it worked before never tried adding a poi before . Just wondering if adding an external antenna would help. TT works fine for directions shows streets and poi i have checked.
Just don't know why i get message (poor gps connection are you in a building)
when im mounted on my winshield. Plan on mounting it down by my radio so may be I should just get the external antenna any way

Some windshields have a special coatings on them that interferes with a GPS signal. The external antenna should help with that.

Haha! Well, I do like Porsche; however, I would prefer Audi (especially new R8 V12)

Call me lame, but I don't want anything but my Santa Fe... Of course, I'm sure that there are other nice SUVs out there - but I don't have enough $$$ to even test drive one - let alone own one.
I wouldn't mind a nice fat Harley though... Of course, I'd have to learn to ride a hog first... Baby steps, right?
