2 Problems with ONE 130.

Hey i'm new, just got my ONE 130 from a friend yesterday.

I have 2 small, but annoying problems. It's my first GPS, but i'm pretty technology friendly and went through the preferences and tools trying to see if I can turn these things off. My next resort would be to go into the tomtom itself when it's connected to the computer and see if I can delete the "triggers" or the "pictures" that pop-up during my problem to see if that works =/


Okay, so first... as soon as I turn on my GPS, it shows my start-up screen. Right after that it says "Your device is shutting down, hit cancel to stop" or something like that... and it has a countdown of 10 seconds I believe.

The second problem is, that after the device has been on for about, a good 2 minutes, it goes to the tomtom demo... like if it were sitting at a store trying to catch consumers to buy it... but no longer is it there... it's in my car =/

Can anyone help me with the problems? Thanks in advance!

Second problem: Go into scripts folder (use Explorer) and see if anything there. If so, delete it.

First problem: There is a battery saving preference: Turn off if external power lost. Sees as if you've got that checked. Try unchecking.
