130S is slow to react

Whenever I turn a corner or make any kind of move in my vehicle, the TT takes about 3 seconds to catch up to my move -- I find myself having to wait on it.

The 301S is about 6 months old ? when new it was quite a bit faster... but it has grown gradually sluggish. What gives?

Two thoughts:
1. you've upgraded the firmware to 8.3. Among known issues is sluggish refresh of maps as you navigate
2. You have too many poi categories checked to show on the map. More than 2 or 3 causes slow screen refresh, especially for a low end model such as yours with reduced cpu horsepower compared to higher end models

Either of the points valid?

It says Version 7.522... and yes I did have a number of POIs checked. I'll turn them off and see if it helps. Thank you for the quick response!

i think it's a common thing for new TT users. load up as much POIs as possible...

lol...

i know my ONE XL was fast before i loaded it up. then next thing i know, i pass the intersection and the display says i havent hit it yet.

i uncheck just about 2 that i need and it's back to it's normal speed...

A quick follow-up: I turned off the POI's and solved the slowness problem. It's back up to speed now. Thanks!!
