I replaced the battery in my 910, and now the display is very very dim. Barely perceptible.
What could I have messed up? I took it back apart, and check the ribbon connectors, but they seem properly installed.
I charged the battery using both the wall mount, and car chargers, did a software hard reset, as well as using the soft reset button.
It seems to function OK. Sound quality is OK, but the screen is nearly black.
Could it be possible that the battery is bad? The battery I put in was a Dantona 3.7V/2400mAh GPS Replacement Battery for TomTom
Catalog #55026651
Is it possible that I missed up the connectors for the speaker and the battery, and somehow it's backfeeding at reduced voltage? I don't think they are the same size.
Any thoughts?
