I just used the included disc mount with the foam mounting tape. I cleaned the top of the dash surface with alcohol (a little for the dash - a little for me 
) and pressed to down good and hard. (Remember, this is "pressure sensitive" stickum and needs some firm pressure for max adhesion)
Simple but clean, effective and easy to reach. I still need to do some wire runs that are not TOO distracting for the power and audio cables, but that is pretty straightforward.
