No internet connection on HOME

My connection to home through web is broken. Anyone have same problem?
If I reinstall, do I loose backups.
 
I just plugged mine in and it is having the same problem that it cannot connect to the internet. My connection is fine, it may be on tomtoms end
 
I'm fried....

My TomTom Home is telling me that I don't have an internet connection as well. Funny how I can get onto this forum and post my inconvenience. It has to be on their end.
 
Same here too !!!

Same problem here too just to put everyone else at ease. I know I feel better when I know I'm not the only one having a problem.

For now I'm just going to assume the problem is on tomtom's end, and I'll try again tomorrow.

Just joined the forum because I like how quickly I've noticed topics such as this pop up....
 
I have the same problem with tom tom home.
I was installing new updated map. So now I can not use my tom tom, hopefully tomorrow they will fix the problem.

P.S. You guys are great, I'm happy I found this forum;) ;)
 
Same problem here as well. Must be a server crash. I wish it would tell us that instead of telling us it's our problem, "Sorry, our servers are down, try again later", instead of "You must not be connected to the internet, dummy"

I bet you they would tell you that if you called tech support. Actually they would probably tell you to remove everything and then reinstall your software or blame it on your firewall.

In many cases it is the firewall, but not in this one. The problem is at their end. Keep trying folks!!:eek:
 
No Internet connection for me yesterday...and I had not received any MapShare updates in almost a week...Connection is now back and I just received about 700 MapShare updates.
 
Same here. They should really figure out a better error message for this problem. How about the World has ended--that might be more believable. (joke).

When will you people learn that TomTom hired the same software developer who created the famous DOS error message, "Keyboard disconnected. Press F1 to continue" :D :D

TT's software is flakey; the firmware is flakey and the servers!! Well....is there a censored smiley I can use? :rolleyes:
 
Seems to be working now.

Seems like everything is working for now.

Glad I checked this forum last night before I fixed something the wasn't broke on my computer !!! :D
