Why can I download computer voices?

When I browse around TomTom Home, I see that I am able to download computer voices but I don't have an XL-S? They also seem to download and install just fine but I haven't tried selecting them yet (Which im pretty sure I can't)

Just wondering why they let you download and install these voices? Here's a screenshot. Someone else also mentioned here about being able to do the same thing..

As you can see it also creates a text to speech folder. Is something going on here? err...
 
Geez....for laughs you should try to select a computer voice! ;)

Another example of crappy Home software, I presume.
 
I went to and fro with Support for some time and finally called.
During the call the nice young lady instructed me to download and reinstall the NavCore.
Did that and immediately the computer voice worked.

On your 930? Or a different unit?

930; Really pissed me off, pardon my French, but the very first Support reply should have pointed that out.
