    Hi Mike,
Have spoken to TT cs in Aust and they agree with you, that you need the active cradle. Can you send me your plans for making it work. My email is J.James@uq.net.au
    Thanks in advance
    Jeff

Hi Mike, hope you can help with a quick query?! I've had a go 910 for years that stopped working a while ago, i've eventually got it working again by changing the main board several times from other 910's, 710's and 510's, i've lost track of which board is which, but it now works, with the original maps that were loaded on it, all working fine...however it won't connect to home, it doesn't get recognised by my PC or my Mac, i don't get the screen that asks if you want to connect to PC, it doesn't come up as a drive on my Mac or PC, it's as if the USB cradle is faulty, but I have another TomTom that DOES work on the same cradle so I know it's not that. I've tried resetting it, uninstalling Home and trying again but no joy...any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
    Cheers
    Steven

    Hi,

have just read your recent post (19/10/09) on a possible fix for the 710 sd card with a red X across.

i have tried everything to date with no success.

i have a family member with a tom tom, not sure which model! but would it be possible to use their backed up data to replace the corrupt data on my card?

    OR

Is my card usable? Do i need to bin it and start again?

Mike, do you think I should replace my perfectly good GO 910 with a GO 740 Live to get live traffic?

Is $277 (Best Buy) a good price for the 740?

Recently downloaded new map and updated to latest version. I think safety cameras are no longer there. Checked on Tomtom home and checked contents of 910 to find cameras are listed but size is only 0.1%. Have subscribed to cameras. Used to get camera updates every time connected to Home but this has no ceased. HELP!!!!

    Hi mikealder:

I really need a help here!
I realize that you use HTC devices with TomTom GO.

I have a TomTom GO 930 and a HTC TRINITY P3600. I tried several times to pair the devices to use TomTom GO 930 like a Handsfree.
I paired the both devices with no problem and copy contacts from TRINITY to TomTom GO.
But, when i make a call from TomTom GO, and phone start calling there´s no sound (TRINITY and TomTom GO).
I paired a Sony Ericsson with GO 930 and the problem is the same.

Could you give me an hand with this problem?

    Thanks
    Regards
